Literature in celebration of Rothen turning 10

"I counted the kicks. Movements decreased when I was in pain, a strong heartbeat reassured me, but I wasn't sure whether to bother the midwives again the next day, when movements were still reduced and appeared to be masked by pain.

As it happens the midwives were amazing and invited me in for reassurance - we couldn't work out what was going on.

I ended up having my little rainbow number 2 at 27 weeks - later that day... He is doing well at 6 days old - with a long road ahead....

But without the confidence of CTK I may not have bothered the midwives that second day and we'd have lost him.

Having become friends with Jo over the years I am thrilled to have seen Rothen grow into a happy healthy 10 year old! He has come such a long way since this day when we asked for hope that he would survive. 

So please help us ensure more mums receive the vital information about the importance of baby's movements.
