Christmas Appeal Donate Fundraise This Christmas, help us protect the most precious gift of all Christmas is a time for families and holding our loved ones a little closer. But for too many families in the UK, the festive season is a painful reminder of the baby they should have been celebrating with. Every day in the UK, 8 babies are stillborn and 3 die shortly after birth. From 24 weeks pregnant to 5 years old, a baby is 15 times more likely to be stillborn than to die from cot death, covid, road deaths, meningitis and covid COMBINED. At Kicks Count, we work every day to reduce stillbirth and neonatal deaths by raising awareness of the importance of babies' movements. The majority of parents that had a stillbirth noticed a reduction in their baby's movements beforehand. We need to make everyone aware of how important the movements are so we can identify and save babies at risk. This Christmas, we’re asking for your help. A donation of any size can place wristbands, leaflets and posters into the hands of midwives and parents who need them most.It can support our campaigns to correct dangerous misinformation online. It can help another family avoid the heartbreak that lasts a lifetime.
