Chloe's birthday fundraiser Donate Fundraise Kicks Count was created in memory of Chloe Wyatt and has gone on to save many lives. This year, around Chloe’s 16th birthday on 27 November, we’re asking supporters to hold a bake sale in her honour to help raise money and awareness so that fewer families go through the heartbreak of losing a baby. Hold your Bake Sale any day between 24 and 30 November. At work, at school, at baby groups, at home, or even on your driveway with a cake table and a tin. Every cupcake counts. Download your posters here We have general posters or if you are holding the bake sale in memory of your baby we have posters for you to include their name Why we’re baking Too many babies are still dying before, during, and shortly after birth. Kicks Count works to reduce stillbirth and neonatal death by helping pregnant people get to know their baby’s movements and speak up if anything changes. Money raised from Chloe’s Birthday Bake Sale helps us: Provide wristbands that make it easier to track movements Print life-saving leaflets and posters for midwives and clinics Keep our free app running so parents know what’s normal, and what’s not Reach families sooner, so they feel confident getting checked Every slice of cake helps us reach another pregnancy. When is it? Chloe’s birthday is 27 November. You can run your bake sale on that day, or any day in the week around it:Monday 24 November – Sunday 30 November. Can’t do those dates? That’s okay. You can still take part, just tell us when you’re holding yours so we can cheer you on. How to take part It’s really simple: Pick a location for your bake sale Bake (or fake!)Homemade brownies. Shop-bought cupcakes on a nice plate. Gingerbread people decorated by your kids. No one is judging. Anything sweet is perfect. Sell and chatPop a donations pot or QR code next to your cakes.Use the table to start the conversation: “Do you know about baby movements in pregnancy?”That awareness alone could save a life. Send in your totalWhen you’re done, just send us what you raised! You can donate online, by bank transfer, or in cash I can’t host a bake sale, can I still help? Yes. You can: You can donate to this appeal in memory of Chloe Bake at home, post a photo of your cake on social media between 24–30 November, and add“I’m baking for Chloe and Kicks Count to help prevent baby loss. #ChloesBirthdayBakeSale #KicksCount”Talking about it matters. Where can I hold a bake sale? Anywhere people pass by and have £1 in their hand: Workplace staff room / reception desk School gate or playground (with permission) Baby / toddler group Coffee morning at home Village hall, church hall, community centre Your driveway / front garden table Uni halls / common room Antenatal yoga / NCT group reunion Why Chloe Chloe is the reason Kicks Count exists. Because of her, thousands of parents have learned that changes in their baby’s movements should never be ignored and have gone to be checked, and had their babies delivered safely. Your bake sale is not “just cake”. It’s more chances for more families to bring their baby home. How the money helps Just £3 can print and deliver an information leaflet to a pregnant person.£5 can help get our movement-tracking wristband to someone who otherwise wouldn’t have one.£25 can supply posters and leaflets to a whole maternity clinic.Larger fundraisers can help us reach entire regions and hospitals. After your bake sale Please send us: Your fundraising total A photo of your cake table (if you’re happy for us to share it) The name of who the sale was for (some people bake in memory of Chloe, some for their own baby, some for “all the babies who should be here”) We love to celebrate every single event and it helps show other people what’s possible.
